FAFSA...

I filled out my FAFSA today so that I can hopefully get some money from the government to finish my last semester with and I found out that I am finally eligible for a Pell Grant. The previous four years I haven't been eligible because Mom and Dad earn "too much money" - that's the biggest load of bull I've ever heard. But because I am turning 24 this year, they can no longer claim me and since I do not earn enough money my eligibility status has changed in my favor. Now whether or not I get a Pell Grant remains to be seen but it's nice to know I'm finally eligible.
